“Unfurling Stories” is a scroll painting that tells the story of a character named Atoli Babu as he takes people on a tour of a bamboo craft village in Assam. The scroll is a mix of cultures and art forms, ranging from South Indian to Japanese.

The project was a way to explore and practice an art form of our own choosing. Kalamkari - my chosen art form originates from Andhra Pradesh, and it has been depicted as a scroll painting in this project.
