This project investigates how Thangka paintings of Green Tara function as integrated knowledge systems connecting spiritual iconography with environmental awareness. Through comparative analysis of works by Masters Locho and Temba Chöphel, the research explores how the five elements manifest as frameworks for understanding ecological processes and human-nature interdependence. The project culminates in an interactive Figma poster that invites viewers to explore layered meanings behind symbolic elements like clouds, lotuses, and mountains. By hovering over these symbols, users discover their ecological significance, artistic intent, and spiritual dimensions, revealing how Thangka art encodes environmental consciousness within its sacred visual language and compositional rhythms.
