These projects explored how modular and ergonomic furniture can enhance experience in compact spaces. Starting with the challenge of combining multiple materials, I designed a stool that balanced structural integrity with material compatibility, and a table rooted in the philosophy of a chosen designer. Navigating constraints like material behavior, joinery, and spatial efficiency pushed me to unlearn assumptions and work within real-world boundaries. Each phase, from sketching and prototyping to hands-on making was shaped by play, precision, and purposeful iteration. Testing ergonomics and modularity in physical form revealed how small design decisions can shift the way we use and relate to everyday furniture. This process grounded my understanding of how form follows intention and how adaptability, when built thoughtfully, can elevate even the simplest objects.
