This seminar challenged my perception of research and branding by placing the city itself at the center of inquiry. Initially viewing Jaipur through tourist clichés, I unlearned surface-level narratives and began uncovering deeper layers of cultural significance—like the rhythmic craft of block printing hidden in its quieter streets. Mapping textures, motifs, and local stories, I structured my research like a design grid—interconnected and intentional. The transition from analog exploration to digital storytelling was a turning point. I curated a visual narrative that used colour, typography, and layout not just for aesthetics, but to convey emotional and cultural depth. Collaborating on an exhibition helped me realise branding isn’t about designing logos—it’s about designing perception. This experience taught me how observation, research, and media expression can fuse into meaningful design systems rooted in context.
