This project explored how different perspectives shape our understanding of the city we live in. Beginning with open-ended walks and uncertainty, we challenged familiar narratives and uncovered hidden layers of meaning within everyday spaces. Using lenses like investigative, speculative, and descriptive, we built a structured way to observe and interpret the city, not just through its architecture, but through its people, movements, and stories. Photography helped us capture and compare these diverse viewpoints, turning documentation into storytelling. As we mapped our findings, we began to see the city as a dynamic puzzle, constantly rewritten through memory, identity, and interaction. Sharing this framework at Bangalore Design Week expanded the project’s impact, showing that every city holds multiple truths, waiting to be seen. The work became not just about observation, but about how we choose to look and what that reveals.
